Guideline for Authors

1. ASR is a double blinded peer reviewed research journal in Statistics published in March and in September each year.
2. The journal published carefully referred original research articles, note, reviews and case studies related to any branch of Statistics (both applied and theoretical). Books reviews, letters to the editor related to articles of the journals are also invited for possible publication.
3. Authors should submit the soft copy of the manuscript by e-mail to the editor at asr.duj@gmail.com.
4. Preparation of Manuscript:
It is preferred that the author prepared their manuscript using MS-WORD 2010 and above with font size 12 pt., Times New Roman font. The manuscript must be organized as
Title
Author(s) name and Affiliation(s)
E-mail id
Abstract (not more than 250 words without reference)
Keywords (not more than 6), AMS (2000) Subject classification
Main text (including Tables, Figures if any)
Acknowledgement
Appendices (if any)
References.
The main body of the article should be organized in appropriate number of sections, subsections, equations, figures. The table should be number continuously starting with 1 irrespective of their subsections etc.
Reference list and citation in the body should be like-
(a) books /thesis:
Medhi, J. (1994): Stochastic Process,3rd edn., Wiley Eastern, New Delhi
(b) For papers:

5. The publication of a manuscript in original submitted to the ASR will imply that the materials have not been copyrighted, published or accepted for publication elsewhere.
