SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Publication Frequency: ASR is a peer-reviewed research journal in Statistics published in March and September each year.
- Scope: The journal publishes carefully refereed original research articles, notes, reviews, and case studies related to any branch of Statistics (both applied and theoretical). Book reviews and letters to the editor related to articles of the journal are also invited for possible publication.
- Language: The language of the manuscript must be English.
- Submission Method: Authors should submit manuscripts through the Online Submission Portal. A copy of the manuscript file should also be sent by e-mail to the editor at asr.duj@gmail.com.

Preparation of Manuscript:
Authors should preferably use MS Word 2003 or later, with 12 pt. Times New Roman font and double spacing.
For mathematical equations, MS Word’s equation editor is preferred.
In case a paper is accepted for publication, the author(s) will need to submit the document file of the paper in the prescribed template.
The manuscript must be organized as: Title, Author(s) name, Affiliation, E-mail ID, Abstract (max 250 words, without references), Keywords (max 6), AMS (2000) subject classification, main article (including Tables, Figures if any), Acknowledgement, Appendices (if any), References.
The main body should be organized into appropriate sections and subsections. Equations, Figures, and Tables should be numbered continuously starting with 1, regardless of subsections.
Reference Format: (a) Books / Thesis: Medhi, J. (1994): Stochastic Process, 3rd edn., Wiley Eastern, New Delhi. (b) Papers: Ong, S. H., Chakraborty, S., Imoto, T., and Shimizu, K. (2012): Generalization of Non Central Negative Binomial, Charlier series Distributions, and their Extensions by Lagrange’s Expansions, Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 41(4), 571-590. - Page Charges: Authors of accepted articles will be requested to honour voluntary page charges (amount decided by the Editorial Board) to partly defray publication costs. Authors will receive hard copies of the reprint of the article.
- Originality: Submission of a manuscript to ASR implies that the material has not been copyrighted, published, or submitted for publication elsewhere.
